((OOC—Well, now that we’ve got Hidan in camp spreading his version of the good word, I figured it was bound to come up sooner rather than later, and I wanted to give the issue the treatment it deserves. What issue is that? Thor on religion—the fact that, for a god, he’s remarkably not a fan.
And of course, there’s a reason for this, and luckily, it’s—so far as I can tell—totally canon. Initially, I was going to give a brief rundown of certain events and let them speak for themselves… But I’ve been anxious to get back to writing something a little longer than your average post. Thus, I’ve decided to make this essay IC, with Thor relating the events as he would in character.
I should note, therefore, that this is not an original piece. I’ve taken a short story from The Mighty Thor, Volume 2, Issue # 50, initially titled “Children of the Gods,” and merely presented it not as it originally was told, via words and pictures, but rather as Thor—as I play him—would tell it.
Hope you enjoy.))
